Lucky Cloud’s minimal and haunting cover of Sufjan Stevens’ “Sister Winter”. With near drone accents and vocals which soar over the instrumentation, it is vexing and dazzling. Like a blanket of immaculate snow - enjoying the imagery of it all yet somewhat overtaken by the numbing winds. It is almost more meditative and spacey than the orchestral-accented original.
